Curl Collection
Perfect for traditional homes and period properties, the Curl collection by Stonebridge features a delicate curled lever on backplate. Curl multipoint handles are suitable for use with uPVC and wooden doors. This product should be installed with a multipoint locking system and euro cylinder (not supplied by The Handmade Handle Company – please speak to your joiner).
Product Options
Curl multipoint handles are available in locking and non-locking versions, please choose from the three options below:
- Entry – Standard entrance handles with keyholes on both sides of the door to allow locking from inside and outside. To be installed with a double euro cylinder. Sprung and unsprung versions are available. Read our guide on sprung vs unsprung multipoint handles.
- Patio – Patio handles are designed for locking on the inside only, enhancing security as there is no access from the outside. To be installed with a single euro cylinder.
- Passage – Designed with no keyholes, passage handles are typically used for double patio doors where only one door requires locking.
ARMOR-COAT Finish
Stonebridge products are all made from a durable steel base and finished using a unique ARMOR-COAT® process specifically designed to provide maximum corrosion resistance and UV protection. As such, all Stonebridge products have been tested to BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 5 in independent salt spray testing – making all products extremely durable in external and coastal applications. Stonebridge products have also been tested and approved for use with Accoya wood.
New to the Stonebridge range, the Forged Steel finish offers a textured appearance with a stunning blend of black and mid silver tones. The durable powder coat finish brings an authentic and rustic look full of character and charm.
Specification
All Stonebridge multipoint handles are supplied in pairs with suitable fixings and a choice of two spindles to cater for doors with a maximum thickness of 90mm.
Due to this products curled lever design, the multipoint Curl handles are available in left handed and right handed options. This is to ensure the backplate which includes the fixing points is always fixed to the interior side of the door, maximising security. To identify if you require a right-handed or left-handed handle, simply stand on the side of the door where the door closes towards you. If the door is hinged to the right, you require a right-handed lever handle. If the door is hinged to the left, you will need a left-handed lever handle.
Product Care and Maintenance
Stonebridge products should be cleaned occasionally with warm soapy water and dried with a soft cloth. For external and coastal applications, this process should be carried out more frequently.
We strongly recommend against the use of solvent cleaners, household polishes or aerosols when cleaning Finesse pewter products – this may cause irreversible damage to the product. For more information, please follow our simple care and maintenance guide.
